By using phyllisbrown.co.nz, and any of The Phoenix Light Foundation Ltd services including its facebook pages, social media sites, blogs, youtube channels or email communications, ect. You agree to these conditions. Please read them carefully.

Cancellation fee on personal sitting and phone or skype sessions

All appointments must be cancelled with 48hrs notice. If cancelling after that period there is a $25 cancellation fee applied as this appointment can not be rebooked in that short period of time.


All content included in or made available by The Phoenix Light Foundation Ltd or any of its subsidiaries through phyllisbrown.co.nz and its related services. Including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, digital downloads and audio clips or any other media is the property of The Phoenix Light Foundation Ltd and is protected international copyright laws.


Logos and names contained within this site are trademarks The Phoenix Light Foundation Ltd, Phyllis Brown and Phyllis Brown Ltd may not be used in connection with any product or service, nor used in any manner that disparages or discredits The Phoenix Light Foundation Ltd or Phyllis Brown. Trademarks owned by The Phoenix Light Foundation Ltd, Phyllis Brown and Phyllis Brown Ltd may be used only with the written permission of the trademark owner.

Gift products  -Refund policy

You may return new or unopened items sold by The Phoenix Light Foundation Ltd on the phyllisbrown.co.nz website within 30 days for a full refund, providing the conditions of the consumer guarantees act (1993) are met. Refunds will not be given for downloaded files including but not limited to music, mediations and courses.

Items are shipped back to The Phoenix Light Foundation Ltd at your own expense. We strongly advise that you purchase proof of postage, shipment tracking or insurance when you ship items for return as The Phoenix Light Foundation Ltd will not be held responsible for any items which are lost by any mail carrier or courier.

If you have requested a replacement item this will be shipped to you within two weeks of your item having reached us. If you have requested a refund this will be made to your original payment method within two weeks of your returned item having reached us.

Student & teacher course fees structure and refund policy

Student course fees are non-negotiable and set by The Phoenix Light Foundation. Minimum deposit is required on course registration and all course fees must be paid by the end of the course if not beforehand. Refund on course fees will only be given if the course is withdrawn or cancelled, deposit will be retained for administration costs.

Teacher training course fees are non-negotiable and set by The Phoenix Light Foundation. Payment plans - Minimum deposit is required on course registration and all course fees will be deducted from your payment method on a set monthly date.

  • Due to the nature of these online courses there is no refund given on purchases. 

The material and information on our website is provided solely for entertainment or promotional purposes.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your online account or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days of receipt of faulty goods.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@thephoenixlightfoundation.co.nz and send your item to:

Gift certificates are valid for a 12 month period from date of purchase. They can be used for other Phoenix Light Foundation products, courses or merchandise. Once the expiry date has been reached or surpassed the certificate is null and void and cannot be redeemed.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on your physical location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, we highly recommend you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


For our international customers, any shipping charge added to your shipment does not include any duties and/or taxes that an individual country may impose upon import. You are responsible for any such duties and/or taxes that may be levied by the country where the product is imported.


All deposits are non-refundable, but they are transferable to another live workshop course. 
If you cancel on the start date, do not show up, or leave an event early for any reason, no refund will be available or if you attend a workshop and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content, no refund will be available.
